Harper's Bazaar (GER) NOV 2016: Joan Smalls

Joan Smalls is featured in a fabulous editorial for Harper's Bazaar Germany, Shades of Beige. For it's November 2016 issue, she is featured on the cover photographed by Marcus Ohlsson and styled by Kerstin Schneider. She has a relaxed, comfortable look. Her beautiful, smooth skin and slim physique is showcased nicely. The shoot is clean and uncluttered as well as the clothing that she wears. Sometimes simple just looks so regal and classy.

As an added bonus, another Victoria's Secret model, Gigi Hadid, is also featured inside in an article discussing her dynamic relationship with Tommy Hillfiger as his model of choice. This hot topic article first appeared in the USA issue of Harper's Bazaar from October 2016 and is truly deserving of reprint for the Germany publication. The fresh relationship developed between Tommy Hillfiger the brand, Tommy Hilfiger the designer, and Gigi Hadid the model turned co-designer is simply fascinating.

Legendary Victoria's Secret model Gisele Bundchen is also featured in an editorial. This magazine's November 2016 issue just oozes with appeal and cleverness. Yes, three Victoria's Secret models in separate non-related editorials. Hmmm.

As a blogger, it is truly time for me to start paying more attention to Harper's Bazaar. I have written about editorials from the magazine before (featuring Chanel Iman and Alessandra Ambrosio). However, this particular cover featuring Joan Smalls just has left a lasting impression upon me. There is just something so right about it ... a representation that I suppose I just do not see often enough.

Smart. Clean. Elegant. Classy.

Harper's Bazaar Arabia NOV 2015: Chanel Iman (2)

Chanel Iman is captured modeling with a gorgeous white horse wearing clothes that are feminine, elegant and tasteful. Perhaps the outfit that stands out the most is the velvet bow & sequin-embellished lace dress by Oscar de la Renta. She showcases this gorgeous gown from the Fall/Winter 2015 Collection and leaves you more than curious about the new fashion house designer who has been carefully selected to replace the late, world-renowned Dominican designer, Oscar de la Renta himself.

The fashion industry has always embraced the sophistication of Oscar de la Renta gowns. This designing house is easily thought of when planning for an upscale wedding. Now, perhaps with the new fashion director, Peter Copping in place, more than wedding gowns will be considered the brand's cream of the crop. He debuts as the Creative Director of Oscar de la Renta with the Fall/Winter 2015 Collection while simultaneously giving ode to Oscar de la Renta who passed away on Oct. 20, 2014 due to cancer. What a way to make a wave in the fashion industry! Sure has gotten my attention with Chanel Iman dressed in one of Peter Copping's designs for Harper's Bazaar Arabai. This fab dress looks black but actually has a very dark blue bodice detailed with black satin bows and black macrame lace. Quite a magnificent gown!

The verbiage on the supplemental cover states "Royal Pedigree: High Fashion Meets Immacualte Breeding" which depicts perfectly well the essence of the equestrian-inspired fashion that drapes one of my favorite American models, Chanel Iman. I find the cover title to be quite cleverly intriguing with a beautiful fashion editorial to accompany it!

Harper's Bazaar Russia FEB 2014: Alessandra Ambrosio (1)

At first glance, one would easily believe that Alessandra Ambrosio was being photographed on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California for a Chanel advertising campaign. I don't believe that Alessandra has been chosen for a Chanel promo in the past, so now would be the perfect time for this honor.

Well, actually in October 2013, she was being photographed dripping in Chanel accessories to be featured in the February 2014 issue of Harper's Bazaar Russia as the cover model as well as being featured in a beautiful fashion editorial accompanying the cover. She is draped not only in Chanel jewelry and accessories, but she also wears Dolce and Gabanna, Alexander McQueen, Versace, Armani and other major labels in luxury fashion.

Here are the editorial photos, outtakes and magazine cover of the issue:
