Harper's Bazaar Arabia NOV 2015: Chanel Iman (2)

Chanel Iman is captured modeling with a gorgeous white horse wearing clothes that are feminine, elegant and tasteful. Perhaps the outfit that stands out the most is the velvet bow & sequin-embellished lace dress by Oscar de la Renta. She showcases this gorgeous gown from the Fall/Winter 2015 Collection and leaves you more than curious about the new fashion house designer who has been carefully selected to replace the late, world-renowned Dominican designer, Oscar de la Renta himself.

The fashion industry has always embraced the sophistication of Oscar de la Renta gowns. This designing house is easily thought of when planning for an upscale wedding. Now, perhaps with the new fashion director, Peter Copping in place, more than wedding gowns will be considered the brand's cream of the crop. He debuts as the Creative Director of Oscar de la Renta with the Fall/Winter 2015 Collection while simultaneously giving ode to Oscar de la Renta who passed away on Oct. 20, 2014 due to cancer. What a way to make a wave in the fashion industry! Sure has gotten my attention with Chanel Iman dressed in one of Peter Copping's designs for Harper's Bazaar Arabai. This fab dress looks black but actually has a very dark blue bodice detailed with black satin bows and black macrame lace. Quite a magnificent gown!

The verbiage on the supplemental cover states "Royal Pedigree: High Fashion Meets Immacualte Breeding" which depicts perfectly well the essence of the equestrian-inspired fashion that drapes one of my favorite American models, Chanel Iman. I find the cover title to be quite cleverly intriguing with a beautiful fashion editorial to accompany it!

Oscar de La Renta Bridal 2013: Daiane Sodre

My first time seeing Brazilian model Daiane Sodre was when she appeared in the Oscar de la Renta Bridal 2013 runway show. She stood out to me in two gorgeous bridal looks and pretty much stole the show with her breathtaking beauty. Can't wait to see more of her modeling portfolio! She is with Marilyn Models which is the same modeling agency that represents Emanuela de Paula (my all-time favorite ever!), Adriana Lima, Arlenis Sosa and so many of my favorite models.

.:those sweet memories will always be dear to me:.

Oscar de La Renta Bridal 2013: Arlenis Sosa

Arlenis Sosa is featured three times in the Oscar de la Renta 2013 Bridal Runway Show. She beautifully walks in two very intricately detailed traditional white wedding dresses. And then she closes the show in a gorgeous solid red gown with plenty of red tulle while wearing a gorgeous black gothic-inspired style ornate head piece with black lace veil attached. Very lovely fashion show with the perfect modern touches combined with the traditional bridal styles of Oscar de la Renta.

.:u are everything I need & more:.

"Oscar has brought grace and romanticism ... and a delicacy ... an ornateness to the industry that was probably not there before he came back into it 5 or 6 years ago ... to me he is like the epitome of the high end of bridal." --Mark Ingram, Atelier

"Red was really very sexy ... he [Oscar de la Renta] said that he designed a red wedding dress for an Italian movie star and that white was very puritanical and that red was really a sexier, happier color for brides." --Anne Fulenwider, Brides Magazine
