Louis Vuitton FW 2011

Head fashion designer of Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, seems to be in a league of his own!

According to at least one online review, the fetish display of WWII-inspired fashion for the 2011 Fall/Winter season seems to be based off of the cult classic film "The Night Porter." This movie cleverly reveals the seductive happenings between a Nazi officer and a Holocaust survivor in a scandalous hotel setting. I just rented this film from Amazon and I don't really see the exact connection. However, I can agree that regardless of what Marc Jacob's motivation was for the runway concept, this is one fashion show that will leave a lasting impression for many more years to come. To add both legendary supermodels Kate Moss AND Naomi Campbell to the model lineup just leaves the audience in complete awe and intrigue.

2015 Houston Astros: George Springer Hopefully Returning Soon!

Houston Astros outfielder and current Heart and Hustle Award Recipient George Springer has been out due to a wrist injury since July 2, 2015. Without his dynamic presence, things have been a little bit rocky for the Astros but somehow they are maintaining their top position in the West Division according to ESPN's MLB Standings.

As speculated recently on the Houston Chronicle's sports blog, he may be back in the game the first week of September. Well, that is just around the corner. Can't wait for his return! He still has a chance to win the Best Overall Heart and Hustle Award which will be presented November 10, 2015. Sure would be nice if George Springer could come back to not just show up but show out! Keeping my fingers crossed.

When he returns I hope he reverts back to the walk-up song he used in the 2014 season: "Sweet Nothing" by Calvin Harris. This song is so sexy ... perfect for the good-looking George Springer! It just seems to fit him better than his current 2015 walk-up song: "Poison" by Bell Biv Devoe.
