Vanity Fair Oscars Party: Elsa Hosk (2022)

We are still in a coronavirus pandemic but you would not know it by looking at the number of celebrities who showed up on the red carpet at the annual Vanity Fair Oscars Party for 2022! Last year, the show did not happen but this year things are a bit more optimistic with the rise in vaccinations and booster shots.

It is THE Oscars after party to attend because all of the non-acting and acting ultra sexy celebrities show up and show out. The VS models love turning heads at this particular event. This year, Victoria's Secret Angel, Elsa Hosk, had everyone taken aback by the bold, custom-designed Mônot gown that showcased her impeccable abs. It seems that after giving birth, many supermodels really dig in to their workout and nutrition plans to get not just back in shape but in better shape than they had ever been!

Elsa Hosk, hmmm ... girl, we see you! And ... hats off to the head designer at Mônot ... making some serious waves in the fashion industry during a global pandemic.

Oscars 2015: Vanity Fair Party ~ Miranda Kerr

Miranda Kerr attended the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on February 22, 2015 in Beverly Hills, California. She always looks smashing at glamorous, upscale events. She has immaculate taste and shows her style best when she is dressed for star-studded evening galas. This annual invitation-only star-studded event is the place to be seen for the most sought-after actors, models, entertainers, musicians, athletes, producers, directors and fashion designers.

The 31-year-old former Victoria’s Secret Angel stepped out in grand style wearing an elegant custom-made Emilio Pucci gown. Her sexy figure was showcased beautifully in this gown. She often accessorizes her evening looks adorned in sparkling diamonds. This night she kept with her usual "diamonds are a girl's best friend" tradition and selected a few of her favorite diamond pieces from her personal Lorraine Schwartz jewelry collection. I especially love the large diamond cluster earrings on her! Perfection. She completed her look wearing Jimmy Choo ankle strap heels and a Judith Leiber clutch keeping everything simple and refined. Clever choice to not wear a necklace and to leave her fingers free from rings. Yes, Miranda is divorced, single and ready to mingle!

From the photos that I have reviewed, she clearly stood out as one of the best dressed on the arrival "red" carpet.

MET Gala 2013: Joan Smalls

I am not sure why most of the Victoria's Secret models who were in attendance at this year's MET Gala wore similar hairstyles. The lovely Joan Smalls did her own take on Chanel Iman's and Miranda Kerr's hairstyle by incorporating an elegant twist along the left side while letting her soft ombre medium brown to blonde hair cascade over her right shoulder.

This Puerto Rican goddess was escorted by the handsome designer Tom Ford wearing one his latest creations. Her only punk accessory were gold razor blade earrings that looked elegant and stunning on her. The Tom Ford black sort of macrame gown that she wore was see-through and draped her body in a sensual way. She looked ultra sexy especially with Tom Ford standing beside her for the event. Her nude color underwear were a clever choice.

At the event, she was photographed chumming it up with another model who has been associated with Victoria's Secret, the edgy Abbey Lee Kershaw. Abbey just exudes punk style without even trying. Nice to capture her in a photograph with Joan at this event since they both have been featured in Chanel advertising campaigns as well as have done work for Victoria's Secret.

This year's MET Gala was truly a success. American designer Tom Ford last year chose Chanel Iman as his date wearing one his designs. And this year he chose another African-American beauty to escort to the popular event wearing one of his designs, the sexy bombshell Joan Smalls! She happens to be at the height of her career and was recently ranked as the #1 model in the world by models.com. Love the fact that Tom Ford so aggressively embraces black models while still holding his position as one of the top designers in the industry. He raises the bar as far as making a true effort to promote diversity in the fashion industry.

MET Gala 2013: Miranda Kerr

Quite a few Victoria's Secret models showed up on the red carpet this year for the 2013 annual Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala: Liu Wen, Doutzen Kroes, Chanel Iman, Cara Delevingne and Joan Smalls. The theme this year was "Punk: Chaos to Couture." Not only did VS models Chanel Iman and Cara Delevingne decide to wear their hair in side braided punk-inspired styles but so did VS Angel Miranda Kerr! However, instead of tight braids hugging the scalp giving a pseudo-bald punk rock look, Miranda Kerr's hairstyle was soft, very elegant and glamorous with just a tad bit of punk appeal.

She looked stunning in a sexy black cut-out gown by Michael Kors. She sparkled in expensive diamond earrings and bracelets by Cartier. The most punk-inspired accessory that she wore was the daring Christian Louboutin clutch. She strutted comfortably in a pair of sexy, chandelier heels designed by Tabitha Simmons which added the perfect shimmering, feminine touch to complete the look.

Miranda Kerr is known for her impeccable style and exquisite taste. She pulls off the old Hollywood glam style quite easily and this seems to be her signature style. Just always a classic beauty on and off the red carpet. She seems to frequently gravitate towards the classic cut-out gowns which show off her very fit physique quite nicely.

She went a little bit more daring for this gala by having two french braids adorn the left side of her head and neatly tucked underneath the cascade of loose curls that fell nicely to her right shoulder. The dark red nail polish complimented her dark red lipstick giving her a slight punk goth look while still showcasing the glamorous, elegant fashion style that she has been known to wear.

And I just can't say enough about the Michael Kors dress ... from the details of the dual solid zippers in the back to the attached sequin bandeau top ... just fabulous! A perfect 10 on Miranda Kerr.
