V Magazine #82: Rihanna & Kate Moss!

Rihanna modeling with supermodel Kate Moss in a naughty bi-sexual S&M bondage themed photospread shot by Mario Testino is truly a sight to behold. Rihanna being only 25 years old is dripping in lesbian sex appeal as she cuddles up with 39 year old Kate Moss. We all know that both of these women are attracted to men; Rihanna's steamy romance with R & B singer Chris Brown and Kate Moss with her being newly married to Jamie Hince, guitarist for The Kills. But what also holds true for both of these women is that they are not ashamed to show that they also have an attraction for women. Bi-sexual women are the hottest in my opinion and I always get a thrill when I see feminine straight women showing their desires, attraction and admiration for other feminine straight women. It doesn't make them lesbian, but it sure as heck makes them bi-sexual. And I say, "Bravo!" Kiss, kiss and carry on!

V Magazine #76, Sports Issue: Naomi Campbell

Issue: V Magazine #76
Stylist: Joanne Blades
Photographers: Daniele Duella and Iango Henz
Editorial: "Private Dancer"
Model Featured: Naomi Campbell

When V Magazine released issue #76 in the Summer of 2012, the editors dedicated the magazine to the world of sports. It seemed a bit odd to me that the fierce diva Naomi Campbell was chosen to be in the mix. The cover of this issue showcases the masculine side of music sensation Jennifer Lopez wearing boxing gear and looking like she is just ready to do some serious damage just like she did in the movie "Enough." A sports issue with boxing as it's cover sport of choice using a popular pop star perhaps is a clever concept. Great timing since the 2012 Olympics included women boxing as a competitive sport for the first time bringing popularity and recognition to the sport for female athletes.

However, inside of the magazine you see an editorial featuring Naomi Campbell wearing a sexy fringed dress by Blumarine accessorized by Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. She also rocks a black fringe skirt by Marc Jacobs and wears it as a one piece dress and an adorable white feather skirted mini dress by Ralph Lauren looking a bit like a ballerina. In another photo you see her styled in a black leather vintage Versace corset-inspired top with a super cool black vintage belt by Christian Lacroix with fringes so long that it appears to complete the outfit as a skirt. Is this a "Sports Issue" or are these pictorials just a fashion editorial feature? Thank goodness they named the editorial "Private Dancer" so that I can understand that Naomi Campbell is supposed to be a sexy dancer, but is private dancing really a sport? Ok ... not quite an Olympic sport but a sport nonetheless. Giving ode to Tina Turner is a stretch for this editorial but Naomi rocked out the designer gear with sex appeal and fierceness. That's why she is considered one of the best supermodels in the industry.

V Magazine #76, Sports Issue: Azealia Banks

Issue: V Magazine #76
Stylist: Nicola Formichetti
Editorial: "One in a Million"
Artist Featured: Azealia Banks

Music talent Azealia Banks is hot on the scene. I did not know of her until I watched the Blumarine FW 2012 fashion show and heard her music with such powerful lyrics and sexy beats. I kept asking myself "What is the name of that song?" and "Who is the artist?" I quickly found out that the song is entitled "212" which is a New York City telephone area code for the borough of Manhattan where Azealia Banks migrated to. She brags and proudly raps about this uptown, prestigious area. She was born in Harlem, New York and she brings a realness and rawness to the music industry that sets her apart. She is a rapper, singer and lyricist that is also not ashamed to be honest about her bi-sexuality. She is new on the scene but is more of a success in Europe than in the US which is probably why I haven't heard of her until now.

She is the winner of a 2012 Billboard Award in the category of New Style Icon. She has been featured already in some pretty established fashion magazines and she rocks the fashion editorial in V Magazine's Sports Issue (#76) that hit newsstands in March 2012.

See Azealia perform her hit "212" at designer Karl Lagerfeld's house in Paris just days after her hit single was featured in the Thierry Mugler menswear fashion show in a hot remix version of the song. This same single in it's album version was also featured as the main song for Blumarine's Fall 2012 fashion show during Milan Fashion Week. Just something about her music and style that fits so nicely right now in the fashion world of runway couture.

V Magazine #76, Sports Issue: Adriana Lima vs. Doutzen Kroes

Wow! All I can say is, "Wow!"

Adriana Lima with the help of fellow Victoria's Secret model Doutzen Kroes and sexy boxer athlete Rob Evans killed it in this V Magazine #76 sports issue!!! Not very many magazine editorials move me the way that this editorial does. Just fierce! You can sure tell that Adriana takes boxing seriously. She has mentioned previously that she takes boxing lessons. Well, uhhh, no kidding! From the looks of these boxing fashion pics she really, really loves boxing and is passionate about it! Such a sexy hobby for her and I love the way she expresses herself in the video that accompanies the prints. Oooh, la la ... fashion photography at it's finest. And hats off to the stylist because the clothing that she and Doutzen rocks are super HOT and just totally on point. Nice. Very nice. I think that I am in love!

V Magazine Models Issue Winter 2011: Candice Swanepoel

The beautiful South African model, Candice Swanepoel, captures the spirit of the sexy ski bunny, or as some say the sexy "snow bunny," perfectly in the Winter 2011/2012 issue of V Magazine, Issue #74, "The Model Issue." She is expertly styled by Carlyne Cref de Dudzeele and is cleverly photographed by Sebastian Faena wearing designer labels such as Christian Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Blugirl, Versace and Jil Sander. Her face shows off her fabulous sun-kissed skin as well as the beautiful top-notch cosmetics provided by NARS Cosmetics. This fashion editorial is truly a winner! Seems to me that Candice Swanepoel can do no wrong especially in the luxury ski-resort world of trophy wives and barbie dolls. She delivers on the runway, in the magazines and pretty much in everything that she is featured in just like a shining star and in this case, like the perfect gleaming snow bunny.
